My inkwell of inspiration filled because of you,
my sun brighter,
my days warmer,
my nights sweeter,
my mood happier,
my world changed,
my heart complete
Forever “Us”
All my life I’ve known
I’ve known I wasn’t meant to be alone
and now that I’ve grown
someone special has taken my hearts throne
He’s changed my life in so many ways
it’s no longer I, now it’s us
forever, for all our days
my heart he will always possess
Just finished reading Gio’s (a.k.a. Acefl0w) book, Wilted Words, I must say that all of the poems in this book are both inspirational and powerful and I would recommend this book to all of the poets on tumblr. Most of the poems in this book are from his personal collection and have not been posted on tumblr. These new poems are awe-inspiring and show just what an amazing writer Giovanni Acevedo is.

I constantly replay the moment we met in my mind like a movie stuck in rewind without a stop button. Every word said resonates in my head playing in full blast. Every detail of your face is seen so vivid and crisp. I sleep, dream and wake with the image of your face still imprinted on the inside of my eyelids so that even when I blink i won’t miss a thing.
I’ll never forget
